Log Size
Based on customer feedback, the average length of our logs is 8 - 12". On occasions some of our logs may be slightly longer. If this is the case, we are happy to replace any logs that are too large when you place another order.
Our logs are perfect for
Wood burners, Open fires, Pizza ovens, Barbecues, Fire pits and even Glamping!
Packaging
Our logs are supplied in bulk bags that are approximately 0.85 x 0.85 x 1.0 m³ in size. As these bags are NOT filled by hand we regret that we cannot take orders for specific log sizes or species.

Seasoned Logs
We process the logs on our farm in East Kent during September to March.
Less is more
The average moisture content of our logs is between 17% and 19%. Anything under 20% is perfect.
Worth the wait
We store our logs for approximately 9 to12 months to ensure all our logs are always well seasoned.
Naturally Seasoned
Storing our logs in a covered barn that is open on 3 sides allows air flow to naturally season the wood.
Our species of wood
Our logs are sourced from sustainable local woodland and to a greater or lesser extent include the following species:
Ash
Hornbeam
Beech
Oak
Silver Birch
Delivery & Pickup
Monday to Saturday at a mutually convenient time.
We do not offer a log stacking service but will be attempt to offload the bags as close to the final destination as possible.
If you would prefer to collect your logs from us directly we are happy to accommodate you, just let us know when you place your order.
We can deliver up to 6 bulk bags using our flat-bed transit style vehicle which has a small crane attached for unloading the logs.

From May 2021, logs sold in quantities under 2m3 must be 'Ready to Burn'
Firewood labelled as Ready to Burn:
- has a moisture content of 20% or less
- will burn more efficiently than unseasoned, green wood
- will reduce environmental impact
- is better for your appliance and chimney
- will also reduce maintenance and fuel costs
